There is no better way to meet people than trivia.

We've all been there. You're a recent (or not-so-recent) transplant to Charlotte, the Queen City.

Maybe you know a few people before coming to the city. Maybe you knew nobody. One thing is for certain, though:

Making new friends as an adult is mind-numbingly difficult.

Wait... What's going on here?

This project is driven by a 2023 New Year's Resolution goal of connecting people--and playing some quality rounds of trivia.

Below, you'll find a form to submit to help connect you with other trivia-goers looking for teams.

(You can enter as a group or solo, looking for a few or many others. We're flexible here.)

How am I connected to other trivia fanatics?

Once submitted, our behind the scenes algorithms will attempt to pair you with a few people that match what you're looking for. This project is a part of a data transparency project, so if you're interested in what exactly these "algorithms" are doing, then please head on over to The Process page for some light reading.

But is this safe?

Whenever a match is made, you'll be emailed results, along with a social media to DM them on, along with some suggestions to help faciliate the initial conversations and meetings. It may sound silly, but there are some strange people out there, and we don't want to give out any information that you aren't already publicly providing. Your phone number will not be collected, and your email will not be shared.

This is a random person taking a crack at helping other people in Charlotte get settled in and get the most out of their time here in the Queen City. I'm not looking to steal your money or information. I just want the trivia scene to grow so more people can be in awe of my team's knowledge bank. :)
